The Rocky Horror Picture Show 50th Anniversary

Join us at The Historic World Theatre in Downtown Kearney as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture show!

There will be a short explanation and demonstration of props beforehand given by our fabulous host. Dressing up is encouraged as always for this crowd favorite, we will have a costume contest right before showtime with prizes for first, second and third place. The pre-show will start at 8:30pm with showtime at 9:00pm!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is the longest-running theatrical cinema release in the world. Starring Tim Curry as the devious and fabulous Frank-N-Furter; Bostwick and Susan Sarandon as everybody's favorite nerdy couple, Brad and Janet; Meatloaf as ex-delivery boy Eddie who dates the groupie Columbia (played by Campbell); and Quinn as Magenta, servant to Riff Raff (Richard O'Brien); the film blends mid-century horror film aesthetics, sci-fi fantasy, and a hefty dose of taboo-shattering self-expression to create a wholly unique experience.
