Synopsis

When a roaming German Shepherd Dog rescues a boy's pet lamb from the slaughterhouse he struggles to reunite them, despite being chased by police and getting little cooperation from the lamb.

London, the canine star of The Littlest Hobo was Kearney’ s first movie star. Owned by a local baseball player and Kearney Hub editor, London catapulted from a Life magazine spread to the silver screen in the late 1950s. A decades long career in film and television followed, including the starring role in the iconic Canadian children’s show, The Littlest Hobo from the 1960s through 1980s. Nathan Tye, associate professor at UNK, will share London’s story, from his days running around Memorial Field with Kearney’s minor league baseball team to his star-studded career in film and television.
