Cancellation/Postponement Policy

Once your time slot is reserved, we do not provide refunds or date changes. If The World has to cancel for any reason, you will be given an option to reschedule or a refund.

Child Supervision Policy

Children must be supervised in our space. Adults must be inside theater during the film. Ages 7 and under must be accompanied by one adult for every two kids. Ages 8 through 16 must have one adult for every six kids. If you do not provide sufficent supervision, we will stop the film screening.

Health and Safety Policies

Masks are required in our facility upon entry and must cover your mouth and nose. They are required in our lobby, concessions area, and restrooms. Guests are required to be seated at a table or in their theater seat to consume any food or drink purchased at your screening. Failure to comply with The World Theatre’s rules and any current state or government regulations at your screening will result in your screening being cancelled with no refunds.

Movie Party Guidelines

  • The theater will be open for you 30 minutes prior to the time slot purchased, and the film will start at the time reserved – no delaying for late guests
  • Films that exceed 2.5 hours will be subject to an additional fee
  • You will be charged for any damage or extensive cleaning to the theater
  • No outside food and drink allowed

Private Screening Policy

Your booking is for a private screening at The World Theatre. This is not a public event – you cannot sell your own tickets or create advertisements, Facebook events, flyers, or other forms of publicity outside of invitations to guests.

Theater Capacity

Movie Party Rentals are for the main floor only and has a guest limit of 25, including the host and children of any age. The theater has a total of 203 seats and 9 2-top tables in the mezzanine. The World encourages you to limit your guest list to those you are comfortable being in an indoor space with. 

Weather Policy

The World screenings will continue no matter rain, snow, or shine. If weather conditions are severe enough that our staff cannot execute your screening, we will contact you to reschedule.
