Hello Friends of The World,
In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, our board and staff have made the decision to temporarily close The World Theatre effective immediately. We will monitor the situation and evaluate when it is appropriate for us to reopen. This is a difficult decision to make, but as a community gathering place we feel it’s important to ensure that we are protecting the community we love so much.
All online tickets will be refunded and all rentals will be rescheduled or refunded.
Clearly, this decision will have a financial impact on our business. We are a non-profit, so donations or assistance are always welcome. Feel free to call or email us during this time with any questions.
We here at The World cannot wait to get back to laughing, crying, and cheering together with you. In the meantime we will continue our renovations. When this is all over, we look forward to introducing you to a whole new World.
